SUNNY NELSON. (Per United Press Association.) NELSON, June 22. Nelson maintained its reputation for mid--winter sunshine last week, when a period of bright sunshine was recorded. It averaged over 8i hours a day. On two days there was 8j hours sunshine, and the lowest reading was 7 hours 65 minutes. FOG IN CHRISTCHURCH. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Juno 22. Christchurch last night was enveloped in the densest fog ever experienced. Motors and drivers of vehicles had a particularly trying time. A motor cyclist, W. Johnston, collided with a tram, which he was unable to see, and had to be sent to the hospital.
