J. H. Dewar of Glasgow being an entirely independent firm are in the favourable position of being able to offer to the public of the British Empire what is rightly claimed to be the finest Whisky exported from Scotland, j Dewar’s Special Liqueur is guaranteed to be of the highest possible quality, being mild, mellow and of great age. It is a Whisky with over EIGHTY years of personal experience behind it and is composed of 53$ Malta and the finest ,of Grain, It has the proper mellowness produced by Whisky alone WITHOUT ANY EXTRANEOUS AIDS, and is distilled and bottled in SCOTLAND, Messrs. J.H.Dewar are the Original "Dewar" in the Scotch Whisky trade. Their rights to the trade name of "Dewar" are upheld by the High Court of Justice at Edinburgh, Scotland; see reports of Patent cases Volume 11, Page 277, Year 1900.
