PRISONERS SENTENCED . (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Juno 11. In the Supreme Court, George Wilson, aged 24, charged with the theft of goods and money (£10), and with converting to his own use a motor car valued at £3OO (taken from a garage), was sentenced to three years’ reformative detention, having been previously convicted of theft. NAPIER, Juno 11. At tho Supreme Court, in sentencing Robert Portcons Brown to 12 months’ imprisonment for theft, Mr Justice Ostler said the prisoner’s loyalty to his comrades and the fact that he had not disclosed information to (he police created in a. judge’s mind a. sneaking admiration for prisoner, although perhaps he (the judge) should not say it.
