(Received June 11, at 8.10 p.m.) The papers are mystified by two judgments entered by the Kind's Bench against the Crown—one for £50,000 and the other for £20,000, both with coats. The only name mentioned in the first case is Efros nnd in the second Christonptikoff. No explanation was given except by the Attorney-General (Sir Douglas Hogg), who merely said that in the circumstances ui the cases arrangements had been made so that the settlement should bo on the terms mentioned and judgment was entered accordingly.—A. and N.Z.
