(Received Juno 11, at 6.5 p.m.) A peculiar will case is being heard in the Chancery Division. Sir John Rees, who, before his marriage, in 1891, entered tho Reman Catholic Church, inserted a clause iu his will in 1904 disqualifying from participation in his residuary "estate any person professing the Roman Catholic faith. The trustees of the estate therefore sought a ruling whether Iris son, Sir Richard, who was baptised a Roman Catholic, was entitled bo £74,000 from tho residuary estate. Sir Richard, in an affidavit, said that in order to please his mother he from time to time attended Roman Catholic services, but ho had no intention m future of professing such faith. Mr Justice Lawrence ordered the money to bo paid to Sir Richard. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
