Painleve told tho journalists that he was flying to Rabat in order to discuss with General Lyautey the best means for dealing with the arrogance of Abd-el Klim. He would probably bo away for four days. It is believed 'that the Government is disappointed at the progress of the campaign. It had been anticipated that the Riffs would speedily be crushed. There has been some talk'of changing the High Command, and the names of Generals Deboney and Weygand are mentioned.— A. and* N.Z. Cable. RIFF ATTACKS CONTINUE. PARIS, June 10. (Received June 10, at 10 p.m.) Advices from Fez state that enemy incursions in Loukkous district continue. The French advance posts at some points have fallen hack in good order.
