DUNEDIN FANCIERS’ CLUB.
The Dunedin Fanciers’ Club’s animal show will be held in the Brydono Hall, Crawford street, to-day. io-morrow, and Saturday next. The show promises to be a most attractive one, as oxee’lent entries hav-' been received in pH sections. There will he a fine display of poultry, and some keen eonmetition is anticipated in this section. There is an increase in the entries in fancy pigeons this vear, while the homers will again be well renresenled. An excellent entrv has also been received in the canary section. The entrv for the dog sections is the largest received for many years, and as this is a championship show some of the best dogs in Now Zealand will be on exhibition. There will bo a line exhibition of Persian eats and a large number of children’s pets. In connection with the show, an art union will be held, the prizes being gold nuggets valued at ft]o. £5. £3, and £2, and these art union tickets also admit to the show, which will ho open each day from 9 a.m. till' 10 p.m.
