PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the laieri County Council intends, at its next Ordinary Meeting to be held in the County Council Chamoers, Mosgiel, on FRIDAY, the 26th day of June, 1926, to MAKE and LEVY, under the provisions of “ The Rating Act, i 908,” and Sections 120 and 121 of “The Counties Act, 1920,” on the basis of the Capital Value, a GENERAL KATE of ONE BENNY AND A FARTHING in the Pound (£) upon ail Rateable Property within East Taieri Riding; a GENERAL RATE OF ONE PENNY AND A HALFPENNY in the Pound (£) upon all Rateable Property within North Taieri Riding, Kaikorai Riding, Otokia Riding, Outram Riding (outlying), Maungatua Riding, Deep Stream Riding, and Strath Taieri Riding; and a GENERAL RATE of THREE FARTHINGS in the Pound (£) upon all Rateable Property within the Outram Town District of Outram Riding, .as appearing in the Valuation Rolls of the aforesaid Ridings of the County of Taieri, now in force. Such Rates to bo for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1925, and ending on the 31st day,of March, 1926, and to he DUE and PAYABLE in ONE SUM, at the Taieri County Council Office, Mosgiel, on the Ist day of AUGUST, 1925.
