DUNEDIN FANCIERS’ CLUB.
The Dunedin Fanciers’ Club’s annual show will be held in the Brydono Hall, Crawford street, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The show promises to be .most attractive, aa excellent entries have been received in all sections. There will be a very fine display of poultry, and some keen competition is anticipated in this section. There is an increase in the entries in fancy pigeons this year, while the homers will again be well represented. An excellent entry has also been received in the canary section. The entry for the dog suctions is the largest entry received for many years, and as this is a championship show, some of the best dogs in New Zealand will be on exhibition, several of the animals coming from tlie North Island and on Friday and Saturday the cats and children’s pets will be on show. There will be a fine exhibition of Persian cats and a large number of children's quaint pets. In connection with the show an art union is being held, tho prizes being gold nuggets valued at £lO, £5 , £3, and £2, and tho art union tickets also admit to tiie show. Tho show will bo open each day from !) a.ra. till 10 p.ra.
