SCOTTISH CONCERT.

The final Show Week concert given under the auspices of the Otago Centro of the New Zealand Piping and Dancing Association attracted another large attendance to Burns Hall on Saturday night. The programme, which was as varied as it was interesting, maintained the high standard associated wdth the entertainments of the Otago ContVe, the various items rousing the audience to a high pitch of enthusiasm. Encores were frequently insisted upon, and the performers obligingly complied with the demands for further items, although their set programme was in several cases no light task. The Otago Centre is to bo congratulated on repeating the success of previous Winter Show Week demonstrations and concerts. The following programme was submitted: Selections, Dunedin Highland Pipe Band; "Bonnie Wee Thing” and “The Auld Scotch Sangs,” Mr J. Leech; “Annie Laurie” and “Hail, Caledonia.” Madame Newcomb Hall; “Within a Mile” and “Scottish Bluebells,” Mrs Stanley Foote; “Border Ballad” and “Bonnie Dundee,” Mr Walter Mitchell; Lyric Club quartet, Messrs D. M;‘Neil, J. Swan, W. Mitchell, and LI. Guyton; recitations, Mr J. B. Thompson; humorous songs and stories, Mr James Paterson Irish jig. Miss Lorna Budge Highland fling, Master Asquith Raynor: Irish reel, Misses R. Beck, L. Fox, N. Wills, and M. Thompson; and Highland fling, Misses L. Budge, L. Fox, N. Wills, and M. Thompson.
