Ferry, Royal Commissioner on alien immigration to Queensland, says inter alia: The Greek immigrant is a menace to the community in ’which he settles, and it would lie a benefit to the. State if his entrance was altogether prohibited. He suggests stringent regulations in connection with the admission and control of immigrants, and adds that (Foreign immigration appears to lie largely induced and controlled by selfish and unscmpnlous interests entirely outside Australia.
