(Received Juno 2. at 10.30 p.m.) John William Abbott lia-s 'been remanded till June 10 on a. charge of murdering Andrew Walter Cnthbert. A message received a few days ago elated : Andrew Walter Cnthbert, who resided with his wife and stepson at Leichhardt, died in hospital as the result ot a gash in the stomach, said to have been inflicted with a carving knife. According to the police, a domestic quarrel occurred at Outhhert’s home. Subsequently Ins stepson (John William Abbott) was arrested.
