SEQUEL TO AUCKLAND BURGLARIES. WOMAN HEAVILY FINED. (Per United Paras Association.) AUCKLAND, May 28. An echo of the burglaries by Mike Flynn (professional boxer) and Robert Heaton Munro was hoard in the police court, this afternoon, when Ada May Bleasel (a married woman) was charged with receiving cigarettes, gramophones, and clothing. Chief-Detective Cummings said accused was ihe mother-in-law of Flynn, and with her husband conducted a hair dressing and tobacconist’s business in Newmarket. In a statement made to the police she admitted receiving goods which were valued at £ll2 19s, and for which she said she paid £4B. On behalf of the accused Mr Moody said neither Flynn nor the accused had attempted to remove the brands or marks from any of the goods, and she had given the police every assistance when they were making their inquiries.
