LONDON, April 26. Describing the late Lord Northcliffe in his book’ “A Traveller in News,” Sir William Beach, Thomas, the well-known war correspondent, says; “Lord Northclifte was so deeply a journalist that a bad paper affected him as discord might a musician. Lord Northcliffe, asked by, Mr John Walter, during the negotiations. by the former for his share in The Times, ‘Would you make The Times a penny?’ replied:' ‘No, I would make it worth threepence.’ .
