SIR ISIDORE SPIELMANN,

Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, May 11. (Received May 11, at 10.5 p.m.) Obituary—Sir Isidore Spielmann, organiser of art-exhibition. —A. and N.Z. Cable. Sir Isidore Spielmann has had a long connection with art and art exhibitions in Great Britain and the Continent, with a view to he furtherance of British art. He was a member of the Council of the British Empire Exhibition, 1924, and was an Executive Commissioner for the New Zealand and South Seas Exhibition to be opened in Dunedin in November next. He has been responsible for the production of a large number of publications, including three condemnatory of Germany’s attitude during the Great War. He was created a Knight Bachelor in 1907. He was 71 years of age, and is survived by a widow, one son, and three daughters.
