SPIRIT PHOTOGRAPHY.

TO TUE EDITOR. Sir, —Referring to the recent Wanganui incident, it may be oi interest to your readers to know that spirit photography is quite a common thing among spiritualists. I have in my possession a copyright photograph taken on Armistice Day in London, which shows quite distinctly a number of faces—probably those of soldiers killed in the war who had returned to earth to prove that, as one writer puts it, " the dead have never died." I may mention that this particular spirit photograph was taken in the presence of Miss Stead, daughter of the. late W. T. Stead, and Alias Scratsherd, both well-known psychics. The evidences of spirit return are becoming so numerous and in many cases attested by prominent men of science, that ignorance of the subject is unpardonable on the part of intelligent peoDle. Quita lately I received a comnrunieation from a late well-known member of the New Zealand Parliament in reference to Prohibition, so characteristic of this person, whom I know personally, that I am absolutely convinced of its truth. It is too late in the day to pooh-pooh these things. Those who desire to have proof of spirit communion can have it if they are openminded enough, and are patient and earnest in their investigation.—l am, etc., J. A. i''OEi!j:s. Oarnaru, May 9.
