LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
REFEREES’ ASSOCIATION. The first annual meeting of the Otago Rugby League Referees’ Association was hold last evening'. Mr S. Devereaux presided over an attendance of fifteen. The chairman submitted a set of by-laws for tho association’s guidance which were adopted. Officers for tho ensuing year were elected as" follows; President, Air S. Devereaux; vice-president, Mr S. Snow; committeeMessrs R. Tillyshort, C. Connolly, J. Harvey, G. Childs, ,J. Harrhy, J. Bullot, J. Underwood; secretary, Mr H. Divers; delegate to the Otago Rugby Football League, Mr S. Doveraux. It was decided to hold weekly lectures on the Laws of tho Game. Tho matter of appointing of two referees for two matches to bo hold at Kaitangata on Easter Saturday and Monday was held over.
