CONCILIATION COUNCIL

ELECTRICAL WORKERS’ AWARD. (Pza, United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Februaiy 13. The claims of the Auckland Electrical Workers’ Union for increased wages and improved conditions of work were heard yesterday by the Conciliation Council, Mr P. Hally presiding. The wages of workers were increased from 2s Ifd to 2a 2d an hour. Hours and other conditions of •workj with some very slight alterations, remain as in the previous award. TTie new conditions will come into operation on March 4, and will continue for 12 months.
