The Department of Agricultlurp has received the following cablegrami dated November 26, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London; The wool sales opened with an exceptionally large attendance of Home and foreign buyers. The demand was active, especially from French section. Merino sold par tp 5 per cent, higher than last series; fine, crossbred greasy, TJ per cent, to 10 per cent, higher; medium and coarse, 15 per cent, to 29 per cent, higher; and slips, 5 per cent, to 10 per cent, higher. Approximately 136,750 bales available for series, of which 40,350 bales are New Zealand.
