BOY SCOUT COUNCIL.
DOMINION’S REPRESENTATIVE. LORD JELPICO-E ACCEPTS APPOINTMENT. (Pen United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, November 28. Brigadior-geperal Andrew reports that he had seen Viscount Jeliiooe prior to his departure from Wellington, and his Excellency had decided to accept appointment a§ die New Zealand representative with the Imperial Boy _ Scout Council in England, vice Sir Cecil Moon, resigned. The Now Zealand section of the Boy Scouts’ Association is extremely pleased that Lord Jellicoo is to bo their representative m the Old Country because his Excellency, us Dominion Chief Scout, lost no opportunity during his visits to the various towns in Now Zealand of seeing the boys, and' all in the movement will be pleased to know that they are being represented by one who has such an intimate knowledge of the dominion.
Sir Robert Baden Powell in writing to Lord Jellicoo recently stated he had seen Sir Charles Fergus,son. the Governor-Gene-ral-elpct, who is already keenly interested in the movement in Now Zealand, and ho had consented to accept the appointment of Dominion Chief Scout, vice Lord Jellicoe. fair Charles Forgusson assured Sir Robert Baden Powell that ho would do his utmost to carry on the good work of Scouting in New Zealand on the lines followed by Lord Jellicoe.
