AUCKLAND SITTING. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, November 28. In the Supreme Court Mr Justice Stringer made an order for adjudication in bankruptcy of Dr Henry Dun dap Mackenzie on the petition of Marjory Mary Anpe Lawrence, who was successful in a recent action in which she was awarded £2OOO damages in connection with the Abrams treatment. CASE AT HAMILTON. (Per Cnitkp Fresh abcooatioh.) HAMILTON, November 28. In the Supreme Court Thomas Lux ton, a well-known farmer of Eureka, was charged with fraud and perjury. It was alleged that accused made a statement to an insurance company after a fire which destroyed his house that certain articles were destroyed, whereas they were saved. Th jury returned a verdict of "Not guilty,” and accused was discharged without a stain on his character.
SITTING AT OTAKI. (Pbb United Press Association.) OTAKI, November 28, Eileen Bree, charged with the murder of her illegitimate child, was committed for trial.
