DEATH OF MRS ENRIGHT
YERDICT OF WILFUL MURDER. Proas Association — By 'Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, November 28. At the inquest regarding the death of Bridget Enright, the coroner returned a verdict of wilful murder against Alexander Clarence Thomas, and a warrant was directed to be taken out for his arrest. Thomas has not been seen for four months. The body of Bridget Enright, aged 69. who had been missing from her homo near Benalla (122 miles north-east of Melbourne) since July 27, was found on Sep* tember 9 partly buried. Miss Enright lived alone'on her farm The last time that she was seen she was talking to a young man near her home, which showed evidence of having been robbed, though there were no signs of a struggle. The body was found in a crevice among the rocks about 200 yards from her residence. An examination r f the body showed that tho nose was broken, and there was a small hole in the 'top of the head. The lower limbs were badly bruised.
