EXHIBITION SEASON TICKETS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,— l am informed that tho price to be charged for season tiokete for the Exhibition will for all adults be £2 2s and for children £1 la. I think it is a mistake to charge £2 2s for ladies. Taking the admission at Is for each occasion, how many-, if any ladies will attend 42 times?; probably not many gentlemen will do eo. In addition to that charge there will probably be 5s on each ticket for a photographer of the holder. X have in my possession my season ticket of the Exhibition of 18S9-90, for which I paid £1 Is, with 5b extra for photograph. On that ticket is a notification to the effect that this ticket entitles tho holder to admission to the Exhibition one hour before it is open to- the general public. This, I take to be a great concession, as it enables the holder to have a quiet inspecton and avoid the crush. I have shown this ticket to Mf Spence, secretary of the Exhibition Company, and called his attention to the endorsement. Of course, the directors will argue that the lower price will not pay. X beg to differ with them. No exhibitions are a financial success directly, but indirectly the town apd perhaps tho dominion will benefit. Especially will many business people do so.—l am, etc., . S. G. Dunedin, November 19.
