CONCILIATION COUNCIL.

STAGE EMPLOYEES’ DISPUTE. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, October 31. After a three days’ session the Conciliation Council practically reached an agreement yesterday over the application of the Stage Employees’ Association for a dominion award. The Commissioner, Mr W. H. Newton, presided. The wages question occupied a good deal of the time, and an agreement was reached under the terms of the old award. Practically everything was settled, with the exception of the question of overtime, which will bo referred to the Arbitration Court. One or two minor points will be referred to the court for a final decision.
