The greatest difficulty will bo in securing a ground unless the union sanctions the match. Notification has been received from tho Telegraph Department that, owing to a protest having been made by a New Zealand firm against Press cablegrams receiving priority, the Pad tic Board cannot now Bee its way to expedite the transmission of football reports as promised. It has also been ascertained that there is great delay in the transmission of these reports from the provinces to London. Arrangements ■ware made to lodge a report of the first Bpell at the interval. The only result so far is that this message comes to hand with , the remainder, lodged at tho conclusion of the game.
