ONE HUNDRED ROBBERIES A WEEK. Preen Annotation —By Taleeraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, October 29. The returns of crimes reported to the Detective Office show that last week’s number was nearly a record. In all 122 thefts of property were notified, and the estimated value was £4300. The property stolen during the week-end alone was valued at £1490.
