HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE.
J. C. Williamson’s entertainers continue to attract large audiences to His Majesty’s 'Theafcr'p. 'the company is headed by Bransby Williams, an impersonator of Dickens's characters who reaches a high standard of artistry, and who invests each impersonation with a life-like realism which which cannot fail to win the admiration of the audience. As regards the Hadjo Kadir Arabs, it is no exaggeration to say that while many fine turns of a similar nature have been seen in Dunedin in the past, none of them has reached the standard of the Arabs, whose daring whirlwind ■work quickly rouses the enthusiasm of everyone in the theatre, W. V. Robinson tolls' a good story, using quiet methods, and also plays a number of musical instruments in amusing and entertaining fashion. Ward and Long present a clever musical turn, Landry and Jull dance gracefully, Anna and Louis feature comedy, Lucan and M’Shane are seen in a diverting sketch. Castles (vocalist.) and Torallo (harpist) are heard in a pleasing concert programme.
