REUNION OP FIRST CONTINGENT. (Pkb Ustted Press Associatiok.) WELLINGTON, October 21. The Now Zealand Mounted Rifles Association first South African contingent, celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary today. The association was formed on the troopship Orient in 1901 on the voyage from South Africa. The contingent went out 212 strong, and had no reinforcements, and -there arc 160 survivors to-day in ail Darts of tho world. The loving cup used on reunion occasions, is an enamel billy with three silver bands bearing the dates of the reunions. The billy was nsed by the men on tho troopship Orient, which was the first transport to enter New Zealand waters. General Sir Alfred Robin presided at the reunion and cablegrams and letters of greeting were received from England, Malta, Transvaal, Scotland and Australia,
