THE WORST ON RECORD,

CALCUTTA, September 1. The terrible train disaster in the Punjab on Saturday, which resulted in 105 Indian passengers being killed and 200 injured, is the greatest catastrophe yet experienced in railway working in India. The cause is understood to have been a mistake in signalling.
