ANCIENT ORDER OF FORESTERS.
JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS.
The celebrations in connection with the sixtieth anniversary of Court Pride of the Leith, A.0.F., wore continued on Thursday evening, when the diamond jubilee ball wa"s held at the Art Gallery Hall, There was a large attendance of members, and 300 couples took part in the grand march, which was led by the D.C.R., Bro. C. W. Patton, and Miss Bestieaux, the District jiixeoutive officers and the officers of the court preceding the members. The decorations in the hall were much admired. The grand march provided a fine spectacle, the regalia of the officers and members, combined with the dresses of the ladies, giving pretty colour effects. While the young members enjoyed the dancing, facilities were given the older members to meet together and talk over the old days and to indulge in card playing. The duties of MX’.’s were capably performed by Bros. R. S. Vercoo, J. Benfcll, C. Hawes, and W. J. Duncan.
