ALBION CLUB. xae sixty-second annual meeting of the Albion Cricket Club was held in the club’s pavilion last evening, Mr J. J. Clark (president) presiding over an attendance of 45 members. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet Mr dark commented on the exceedingly satisfactory position in which the club had placed itself during the past year. It was fitting- that this being the diamond jubilee of the club, they were in such a flourishing position, more so than any other year of tno club’s existence. Although this was their sixty-second meeting, it was not until two years after the pioneers first gathered togetner that the Albion Culb was formed, hence this year being their diamond jubilee He hoped the club would go one better by winning all their competitions during the present season. Commenting on the club’s finances, Mr Clark congratulated the past secretary and treasurer (Mr Corbett) on his fine work. Ihe credit balance had increased from £5 to £33 18s, which was ample evidence of Mr Corbett’s watchfulness over the club’s finances. Mr L. J. Joel seconded the motion, which was unanimously carried.
