The Board of Trade Journal (writes our London correspondent) advises exporters in England that importers in Now Zealand prefer that wood wool packing should be used in cases whore such packing is suitable, rather than hay, straw, or chaff without a disinfectant certificate. This is in order to obviate the trouble of having the packing material destroyed. The largest picture over painted is the “Paradise” of Tintoretto, which hangs in the palace of the Doges at Venice. It measures 84ft by 35ft.
