Vealers. —There was a fair-sized entry, and the quality was indifferent. Good stuff sold at about late rates, hut there was no demand for inferior. Best cows £2 18s to £3 ss, medium £1 15s to £2 12s, inferior 11s to £1 12s 6d, two-year heifers £1 15s to £2 2s, calves Ss fid to 20s; bulls £2 12s fid to £5.

Dairy Cattle. —There fas a very heavy entry, and generally the prices were low. The best prices were up to £7 10s. Many serviceable lint low-conditioned cows sellling at from £3 to £5. Fat Pigs.—There was a small yarding and an active demand. Prices were good. Choppers £3 10s to £8 10s, light baconers £1 15s to £5 15s, heavy £6 to £6 10s, average price per lb Od to lOd, light porkers £2 10s to £3 ss, heavy £3 10s to £4 ss, average price per lb Old to 10}d.

Store Pigs.—There was a medium entry and an all-round advance. Wcaners 23s to 28s, small stores 2Ss to Sss, medium 30s to ils, largo 45s to 525.
