William Chase, president of the Civic League, which has been investigating the circumstances of Firpo’s admission into tho United States, has sworn to a warrant for Firpo’s arrest on a charge of perjury. According to the Minister’s Attorney, Mr Bernard Sandler, tho warrant will be served on Tuesday. Mr Sandler said that Firpo had failed to toll the truth about Anna Piccart, with whom, he arrived in the United States recently. It is stated that an effort will bo made to have Firpo deported before bis scheduled bout with Wills on September 11.—Reuter.
