LAWN TENNIS.

ANDERSON’S BAY CLUB. The nineteenth annual meeting of the members of the Anderson’s Bay Lawn Tennis Club was held in the pavilion on. Wednesday, there being an attendance of 19 members. Mr F. J. Campbell (president) occupied the chair, and in moving the adoption of the report and financial statement he congratulated the members on the success of the previous year. The standard o! play had been good, but owing to the unavoidable loss of several of the senior players the teams had not met with the success of the previous year. The position of the club’s finance was very satisfactory, and the membership list showed the increased interest that was being taken in lawn tennis in Anderson’s Bay. The election of office-bearers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: —President, Mr F. J. Campbell; vice-presidents—Messrs G. W. Gibson, J. J. Read, A. Lee Smith, 'l. Somerville, A. Harris, and Professor Park; secretary, Mr A. E. M’Adam; treasurer, Mr L. J. Mew; committee—Misses Ashton, M’lntosh, ana Hill, and Messrs Peake, M’Lachlan, and Menzies; auditor, Mr W. W. King; club captain, Mr J. M’Lachlan. The opening day was fixed for September 6.
