OCTAGON THEATRE. Jackie Coogan, the famous American juvenile actor, and the envy of most other boys of his age, is now appearing at tlio Octagon Theatre in the picture “Circus Days,’’ an adaptation of “Toby Tyler, or Ten Weeks With a Circus.” The picture has boon produced on a large scale, and the circus is a genuine one, with all its clowns, acrobats, trained horses, monkeys, wild animals, and freaks. The supporting programme is also an extensive one, comprising a number of gazettes and comedies, and the Octagon Concert Orchestra submits a special musical programme. EMPIRE THEATRE. That the type of love known as “holiday love’’ does not, after all, amount to very much is what the picture ‘ Don’t Call it Love,” which is now being screened at the Empire Theatre, points out. The story, which is attractively told on the screen, features Agnes Ayres, Jack Holt, Nita Naldi. Theodore Kosloff, and Rod La Roque. There is also a strong supporting programme, and tho Empire Orchestra provides a number of bright musical selections. EVERYBODY’S THEATRE. An extensive programme is at present being submitted at, Everybody’s Theatre, and the chief picture is ‘ The Kid,” featuring Jackie Coogan and Charlie Chapbn juvenile and comedian. The story is a vpry fine production, and the two wellknown actors are seen at their best. Another story of a dramatic nature is “Tho Man Between,” featuring Allan Forrest.
