ORIENTAL CARNIVAL.
To-morrow night the public of Dunedin will have an opportunity of seeing for the first time tho result of the easeful preparation and attention to detail which lias been devoted to producing the Oriental Carnival, when a aeven-night season will lx> commenced in His Majesty’s Theatre and adjuncts. In addition to the spectacular revue "Japonettc,” {.tails are being conducted in the adjuncts of the theatre, and dancing may be enjoyed in the Victoria Hall. The combined efforts of a large number of publicspirited citizens to augment the funds of the St. John Ambulance Association eo that the purchase of an up-to-date motor ambulance may bo possible should certainly appeal to every citizen who realises the valuable work carried out by the members of the association.
