REVENUE FOE JUNE QUARTER, (Per United Press Association.) ■WELLINGTON, July 24. The Postal and Telegraph revenue for the quarter ended June 30, compared with a voar ago, is as fallows (shillings and pence omitted): — 1924. 1923. Postal ... _ ... £326,767 £335,728 Telegraphic 458.260 288,131 Of the latter telephones produced £257,492. compared with £123,009 a ‘ year ago. Savings Bank deposits totalled £7,597,610, against £7,655,030 for the Juno quarter of 1923. The withdrawals this year totalled £7,812,880, exceeding the deposits by £215,270, while a year ago the withdrawals were £7,094,446, or £540,584 less than the deposits.
