MAN'S GREAT WEIGHT
ASCRIBED TO WAR WOUNDS. OTTAWA, June 19. When Mr Wilfrid Calhoun joined the Canadian Army he weighed 13sfc 81b. To-day he applied for a pension, because his weight, having reached 31st 61b, and threatening further increases with every meal, makes it difficult for him to earn his living in any ordinary vocation. Air Calhoun attributes his remarkable bulk to wounds in the head and neck, which, ho says, have affected tiro glands which should control his growth.
