RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION.
POLICY OF DEVELOPMENT. (From Ode Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON. June 23. The Minister of Railways (the Hon. J. G. Coates) says that finality has not been reached by the department in regard to the report upon the policy of development of railway construction with special reference to the order of the urgenev in which certain works shall bo carried out. It is expected that the report will accompany the Railways Statement which will ha presented to Parliament during the coming session.
