Viscnunt Pirrie, head of the firm of Messrs Harland and Wolff, shipbuilders, Belfast, died suddenly on Saturday night from bronchial pneumonia on board the steamer Ebro. He was returning from South America. Viscountess Pirrie. accompanied him. The body will arrive on Friday, and be sent to Ireland on board the Cedric, which will sail on Saturday. Lord Pirrie loft Southampton on March L on a visit to South American ports to study the shipping prospects. —Reuter.
