TAILOR-MADE SUITS.

PROTECTING THE PUBLIC. (Per United Press Association,) AUCKLAND, Mhy 26. A deputation of the combined tailoring trades interviewed the Hon. G. J. Ander? son urging legislation to prevent the sale of factory-made suits as The union secretary (Mr Maosom) said he thought 50 per cent, of the suits sold as tailor-made, were made in factories. Mr Anderson said that he intended to do something in the matter this coming session, and would confer with the parties interested on his return to Wellington. Ho must protect the public as well as those engaged in the clothing trade.
