(Per United Press Association.) WANGANUI, May 26. The magistrate, Mr Barton, this afternoon sent to gaol for 14 days a farmer named Samuel A. Robinson on a charge of being drunk while in charge of a motor car. Thomas Harvey, licensee of Chavanncs Hotel, was convicted on a charge of exposing liquor after hours and was fined £lO and his license was endorsed.
