OTAGO STUDENT FINED. (Peb United Peess Association.) WELLINGTON. May 26. Herbert Hall Webb, the Otago tiniversity student who was concerned with others in the recent frauds in connection with examination papers, appeared in the Supreme Court, Wellington, to-day for sentence. Accused was found guilty by a jury, and the verdict was confirmed by the tlourl of Appeal. In fining Webb £lO, Mr Justice Chapman described accused’s action as a very shabby one.
