MR THEODORE GRATIFIED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON. April 21. (Received April 25, at 5.5 p.m.) The Queensland loan was applied for fivefold. The conversion applications amounted to between £O.OOO, (KK) and £7,000,000, and the cash applications to £60,000,000. Air Theodore is gratified.— Reuter. The prospectus of the Queensland Government’s loan of 5J per cent, inscribed stock due in 1026-20 was issued by the Bank of England on April 7. The amount is £12,703,734, and the price is redeemable at pardon July 1,1020, or on three months' notice after July 1,1026. The proceeds will be used for the redemption of the Queensland ,‘Q and 4 per cent loans due on July 1, 1024. The holdings of these latter will be convertible for a like amount of new stock, the converter receiving on July 1, 1024, a cash payment of 4 per cent, pins a half-year's dividend in respect of his stock, it was announced that the lists would close on April 20.
