GERMAN REPARATIONS

FRANCE AND THE RUHR.

EVACUATION PLEDGES

Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. PARIS, April 22. M. Poincare has communicated to the Reparations Commission the French Government's attitude in regard to the experts' report. He says that his Government approves of the plan as fully as do the other Allied Governments. He has invited the Commission to formulate suggestions in connection with the carrying out of the plan. He expresses the view that a number of preliminary measures must be executed before the present pledges in the Ruhr can be exchanged for others. Such changes must be dependent on a previous inter-Allied agreement on sanctions in the event of German default. —Reuter.
