The Wanaka, which arrived here on Saturday morning from Bluff, sailed early that evening for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The iiolmdalo sailed late on Saturday night for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The Storm left late on Saturday night for Timaru, Lyttelton, Picton, and Wanganui. The Progress, from Lyttelton, is due here to-day, and after discharge will <lock at Port Chalmers for overhaul. The Knwntiri, with a wheat cargo from Port Pirie, via Bluff, arrived here shortly after noon yesterday. The Union Co.’s steamer Maheno, which arrived at Auckland last week from Sydney, discharged transhipments ex the follow ing steamers: Hauraki, Schiedyk, Barral- ot, Honolulu Mum, Wear, Riverina, Principessa Giovanni, Eastern, Omar, Mongolia, and Canberra. DUTCH STEAMER OMBILIN. The Dutch steamer Ombilin, from Bunbury, via Auckland, Wellington, and Napier, arrived here on Saturday, and berthed at the Birch street wharf to complete discharge of her hardwood cargo. She will then load for Singapore and Calcutta, and will also take cargo for Malay States, India, Burma, Indb-China, and Chinese ports. TRURO CITY REPORTED. Cabled advice has been received that the Eeardon-Bmith Line steamer Truro City, en route from New York to Auckland, cleared Panama on the night of March 27. The vessel is bringing 85,000 cases of oil and a quantity of general cargo for Auckland, being due there about April 25. She will also discharge at Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. RAMA FOR NIUE- ISLAND. The Chatham Island Fishing Company’s . steamer Rama arrived at Auckland from Wellington on Tuesday afternoon. The vessel is under contract to the Cook Island Administration to carry passengers, mails, and cargo between Auckland and Niue Island. She will mate a trip to Niue Island about once every two months. She sailed on her first trip on Thursday. EXCURSION TRIPS TO HAWAII. The Union Steam Ship Company, as managing agents ol the Canadian-Australasian Royal Maul Line, has decided to nun two excursion trips from Auckland to Honolulu (Hawaii), via Suva (Fiji), this winter. the excursions will be made by the Niagara and Makuna, on July 8 and August 5 respectively. These cruises, combined with those made regularly through the South Sea Islands, will give ample opportunity to those people who desire to spend their holidays in Hawaii -or Fiji. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. Wellington: Waihemc, Waikawa, Marama, Mocraki, Koromiko, Tahiti, Gallic, Mahana, Hertford, Kaiinanawa, Waiwera, Port Brisbane, and Waikouaiti. Chatham Islands; Tainui and Port Wellington. THE WEST ISLIP. The Aemrican steamer West Islip, from San Francisco, via Lyttelton, arrived here yesterday to discharge lumber, case oil, and general cargo. After loading timber and general cargo at Vanconver the West Islip cleaned San Francieco on March 8 and had a fine weather voyage to Lyttelton. About 17 days ago, she spoke the schooner France, which reported “all well.’’ Captain L. Safstrom retains command ol the West Islip, and has with him the following officers;—Chief officer, Mr A, Petersen; second, Mr C. Johnston; third, Mr S. Haider; chief engineer, Mr G. Gardener; second, Mn H. Webster; third, Mr J. Tally; wireless (roerater, Mr W. Hopkins. The crew is oi Twiyed nationalities.
