PARRAMATTA TRAGEDY. l*m« Association —By Tologruph—-Copyri^M SYDNEY, March 28. Albert Walker has been committed for trial on a charge of feloniously and maliciously killing his wife. Mrs Walker, aged. 50 years, was shot dead in front of her homo at Parramatta. A passer-by informed the police that tb® deceased ran from a honse, followed by' her husband, Albert Walker. Three shots were fired, two taking effect. The busband then made for the shrub. A party of police was despatched, and as they approached Walker called out: “Are you after me?” He then produced a revolver and shot himself in the temple. He was sent to hospital in a serious condition. THE YARRA IN ILOOD. MELBOURNE, March 29. As a result of heavy rain, the Yarn River flooded, submerging the iow-lymgf' suburbs.
