LADY NOVELISTS VIEW. NEW YORK, March 17. Mrs Gertrude Atherton, the American novelist, in tan intei-vicw with the Tribune, claimed that the rejuvenated women in her boob, "Black Oxen," -were not overdrawn. Mrs Atherton openly advocates tne rejuvenation process.* She. says she addressed a meeting -at the Columbia University, arid a woman member of the audience approached and said she had taken the treatment. The woman said she was 49, but she appeared only 26. Mrs Atherton added that she did not advocate the treatment for rejuvenation of appearance, but because it restored mental activity and usefulness. Slip related the experience of a prematurely aged New York woman who had lost interest in life and her husband's love. She took the treatment and regained both.
