PRINCESS THEATRE

With (he motto, "Get Your Man," tho Canadian North-west Mounted Police have a reputation for fearlessness that is worldwide. The Con Moreni Musical Comedy Company, for the fifth week at the Princess Theatre, will present this evening- a very humorous burlesque on the famous forci* m a revue of that name. The revue is carried on from incident to incident in an interesting manner, and there is not a dull moment in it. It abounds in clever, but cJean, comedy. The scene is laid in a saloon in a gold-mining town, Dawson City, in the good old days, and the characters are typical of the novels and motion pictures dealing with the wild west and north-west. Con Moreni is seen as Polico-sergeant Clancy, and his droll interpretation of the Dribe-taking minion of the law who had adopted as his slogan the letters Y.M.C.A. (Jtou must come across) is one of the best characters he has portrayed here. One of the features of the piece is his song"O'Reilly.'' which is embellished with the " Winsome Rrunettes," who demonstrate their versatility individually. Among the musical numbers is one. by a male quartet, which never fails to be very popular. Tho vaudeville section of the programme is unusually strong, and includes two new a-cts. Cestria is a comedy acrobat whose antics are very original and exceedingly humorous. The Devinnas will introduce a clever and interesting physical culture exhibition. The three acts remaining over f'om last week are The Mackinnon Boys, Hats Mac Kay, and Victor the Great, who will all present changes of programme. The box plan is at the Bristol.
